Sydney is one of FitMatchr's three launch cities, arriving on iOS and Android at the end of October 2026. Gyms and studios are spread from the CBD and Surry Hills to the Eastern Suburbs, the Northern Beaches, the Inner West and out to Parramatta.
In a city this wide, proximity matters. An instructor in Manly is not much help to a studio in Newtown at 6am. FitMatchr matches cover posts to qualified, available instructors nearby, and for gyms with sites across the city it keeps every location in one account rather than a separate scramble at each.
If you run several Sydney locations, owners and managers see them all from one account, while site-scoped logins (a front-desk iPad, say) can act for their own site alone. Billing is per location, with 15% off from the third location onwards. The full picture is on FitMatchr for multi-site gyms.
Cover posts are pushed instantly, applicants are ranked by reliability, and you confirm in a tap. For ongoing roles, post a permanent role and hire in the app. Studios and gyms pay per location, after their first 3 months of covers free (card required, not charged during the trial): Cover is A$79/month per location and Pro is A$149/month per location, ex GST. Instructors never pay.

Many Sydney instructors teach at several venues. Upload your qualification and first aid/CPR once, add your bank and super details and you are marked Ready to hire, then get alerts for cover and permanent roles near you. Studios pay you directly after booking. It is free for instructors, always.

Instructors upload their qualification and first aid/CPR, with expiry tracked automatically, and are marked Ready to hire when documents are complete. Studios must be ABN-verified to see documents and payment details, which are shared in the app only when a booking is made.
