The Gold Coast is one of FitMatchr's three launch cities, with the app arriving on iOS and Android at the end of October 2026. Whether your studio is at Burleigh, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Southport or Robina, this is how it will work.
A coastal timetable has its own rhythm. Early classes start before the day heats up, outdoor bootcamps and beach-side sessions sit alongside indoor studios, and instructors often split their week between a few venues along the coast. FitMatchr matches by speciality and proximity, so shift alerts reach instructors who can realistically get to you.
Post a cover shift and it goes instantly to qualified, available, nearby instructors, ranked by reliability when they apply. You can raise the rate for urgent shifts, and award-rate guidance (Fitness Industry Award) appears as you post. For ongoing classes, post a permanent role with the schedule, rate range and experience, and hire in the app.
Gyms with a site at each end of the coast can run everything from one account, with a site-scoped login at each front desk. Studios and gyms pay per location, after their first 3 months of covers free (card required, not charged during the trial): Cover is A$79/month per location and Pro is A$149/month per location, ex GST. Instructors never pay.

List everything you teach, upload your qualification and first aid/CPR once (expiry is tracked automatically), add your bank and super details and you are marked Ready to hire. You will be notified of cover shifts and permanent roles near you, see the rate before applying and get paid directly by the studio. FitMatchr never charges instructors.
Check-in is geofenced, within 50 m and at least 10 minutes before class, and builds your reliability score, so showing up counts.

No. FitMatchr is free for instructors, always, with no subscription and no fees. Studios and gyms pay per location and pay instructors directly.
Yes. Group Fitness & Cycle covers spin, HIIT, barre, bootcamp, choreographed and boxing classes. Post the shift or a permanent role and it is matched to instructors by speciality.
Yes. One account covers every location, owners and managers see all sites, and each site can have a site-scoped login. Billing is per location, with 15% off from the third location onwards.
Post the class on FitMatchr and qualified, available, nearby instructors are alerted. The speed depends on the time, the rate and who is available, so we can't promise a time.
