Coaching it is a mix of two skill sets. A HYROX coach cues running technique and pacing, then switches to coaching loaded movements and station technique. The work is usually delivered in a small group or class format, often a mix of intervals, strength blocks and race-simulation sessions. Some coaches also write programmes for members preparing for a specific race.

HYROX is a speciality in FitMatchr, listed under Personal Training (HYROX coaching and race prep) and Group Fitness (HYROX classes). Instructors choose it on their profile, and your cover post or role goes to coaches who list it.
The optional HYROX certification badge and the requirement option give studios control over how strict to be. Instructors upload their qualification and first aid/CPR documents, expiry dates are tracked, and once their documents are complete they show as Ready to hire. Documents are held on file and shared with ABN-verified studios after a coach is booked.
On the day, instructors confirm arrival with a geofenced check-in: within 50 m of the venue and at least 10 minutes before class. Check-ins build each instructor's reliability score. Reviews are double-blind, so neither side sees the other's review until both are submitted. If a booked coach cancels, FitMatchr will try to help you re-place the shift, but re-placement is best-effort.
